Dubai's Architecture

Dubai´s Architecture.

Dubai is usually described as place where everything is possible and nothing is impossible.

Dubai´s architecture is eclectic and varied, that´s why it´s hardly to define it in accurate standards, but Dubai has shown an interest in making big buildings which are in the biggest ones in earth.

Dubai doesn´t have a central square or a central street. The buildings and hotels spread  in an erratic way, exposing it´s amazing facades to the tourist. The hotels or the malls are the most comun meeting places and where the city activities take place. 

Dubai is known as one of the best places to go to visit, because it´s tourist places are all the city. The Dubai´s art is reduce to the buildings, the luxury hotels and all the malls. 

Dubai has 100 years of history and in the last 30 years it has an incredible development due to the economic boom. The magnificence of the buildings is a probe of that acelerated growing.

The buildings that a tourist have to see are:

Burj al Arab: The arabic tower is a try of it´s creator to face against the ''Eiffel Tower'' and ''The Sydney Opera House''. With 321 meters of height and 60 floors, it´s an amazing building with walls of glass which reflects sunset and is the axis of a nocturne show of lights.


Dusit Dubai: There are a lot of skyscrapers in Dubai, but no one like this one. With a shape of an inverted ''Y'' the tower stands from it´s two pillars about 153 meters.


 

Emiratos Towers: Twin towers with a way-out style. The taller one, heights 355 meters, is an offices and apartments building. The other is a hotel.

        

World Trade Center: It´s the first skyscraper of Dubai. It became into the icon of the city since it´s building trade in 1979.


Burj Khalifa: With 828 meters of height, is the biggest building in earth. Has 58 elevators, 163 habitable floors, 46 maintenance floors and 2 parking floors in the base.
